Pain Management

Laser Surgery:  A surgical laser which generates an intense beam of coherent light able to cut, seal or vaporize tissue is performed when necessary.

Ultrasound:  The use of sound waves to generate images of internal body structures offers a non invasive method of diagnosing many conditions including, but not limited to, cardiac and abdominal concerns.

Endoscopy:  A lighted, flexible fiber optic scope used when necessary for diagnostic, surgical or treatment purposes.

Radiology Services:  The latest X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs that aid in diagnoses.

Electrocardiography Services:  Electrical analysis of the heart is provided on-site as well as in consultation with cardiovascular specialists.

Dentistry: Dental services include routine preventative care, teeth cleaning, polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and oral surgery.

Permanent Pet Identification:   Microchip identification which helps lost pets reunite with their owners is available.

Consultations:  In-hospital referrals to specialists are offered in all fields of veterinary medicine.

A complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives are available as well as a full line of prescription diets.

In-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing.  Commercial veterinary laboratories are also utilized for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

The safest available anesthetics are used to provide an extra margin of security, especially for our older or high-risk patients.

During all anesthetic procedures, our patients receive IV catheters, fluid support and continual vital sign assessment.
